How did we test the effectiveness of the TROPIC 900 hat against mosquito bites?

How did we test efficiency in preventing mosquito bites? We tested the efficiency of this hat in a specialised laboratory. 60 female mosquitoes of 3 different species (Aedes, Culex and Anopheles) were placed in a sealed room (yes! only female mosquitoes bite).
