UV Protection
Because UV rays are harmful to the eyes, all our masks are 100% ANTI UV with the EN 174 standard. The mask is the best protection response, it perfectly encloses the eyes which prevents any passage of UV, also by reverberation
Optimum anti-fog
The anti-fog "OPTIMAL" is a double ventilated screen with an internal face treatment and ventilation on the frame that allows to ventilate the inside of the ski mask.
Closing these vents with a muffler for example must be avoided to allow good ventilation of the inside of the mask.
Be careful not to rub the inside of the screen but carefully dab the surface to keep the effectiveness of the anti-fog as long as possible.
Double ventilated screens
A mask design with a ventilated dual screen helps to limit fogging. Indeed, the air that is trapped between the two screens is a thermal insulator. Thanks to this, the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the mask is lower and it thus slows down the vapor formation inside the screen of the mask. The interior screen also receives an anti-fog treatment and is also ventilated by vents to ensure good air circulation.
Spherical screen
The spherical shape gives the least amount of optical distortion.
The outer screen is made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, the inner screen is made of propionate cellulose.
Ski helmet compatibility
All Wedze ski masks are designed for perfect compatibility with Wedze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The G 540 S3 ski mask in size L allows to use corrective glasses to a maximum of width of 145 mm. The foam on the sides and the shape of the mask skirt leave an exclusive passage for the branches.

Microfiber case
Remember to protect the mask and especially the screen from any scratches, before and after use, with the Wedze microfibre case. This case also has the function of cleaning the screens, the material is ideal for maintenance without scratching.
Flashed coloured screen
A coloured coating on the outside of the screen of the ski mask (called coloured flash) reduces the % of light transmission that gets to the eye, it means less glare and greater visual clarity in bright conditions
EN 174 Standard
The EN 174 is a European standard for masks used for eye protection when practicing alpine skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.
Avoiding condensation
Humidity causes the formation of fog. It is therefore best to avoid saturating the foam, for example by placing ski mask over damp helmets or hats. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. This is why in all cases, it is necessary to dry your ski mask all night so as to eliminate all traces of moisture and start skiing the next day with a perfectly dry mask.
