Increase the pressure

The telescopic body means you can pump in a large amount of air with each push.To increase the pressure as you finish pumping, the pump can be screwed down to reduce the diameter and therefore increase the pressure with less effort.

Precision

The needle pressure gauge allows you to check the pressure you're inflating your tyres to.Shows increments of 0.5 for bars and 10 for PSI.

Small or large valve?

You can inflate small valves (Presta) and large valves (Schrader).Simply unscrew the end and adjust it for the type of valve (P or S).

How to use your pump

1) Unclip the flexible hose from the pump.2) Unlock the pump by turning the body towards the left.3) Identify the type of valve on your inner tube using the letter on the end.4) Screw the end onto the valve until the connection is secure.5) Move the handle perpendicular to the pump.6) Inflate to the desired pressure.7) To increase to high pressure, stop inflating by locking the body of the pump to only use the central piston.

Guaranteed grip

The ergonomic handle makes inflation easy.

don't buy

Like others, I've hit the trail with this only to find it sheds an essential reducer for Schrader valves, leaving you with potentially a long walk home if you get a flat. As others have noted the reducer is not sold separately and in-store staff have no solution to this problem. My wife bought a similar item on Amazon for 1/3 of the Decathlon price - withe no need for a reducer. Decathlon are usually great - but when they stumble they crash.

good for the price

It fits the purpose but for 20 pounds I would expect the gauge pressure to be more accurate, it stops at 5 bars even if you keep pumping air into the tyre.

Very poor quality

I bought this pump before covid hit, went on my 1st ride with the pump on my bike and lots the end part of the valves. Tried several times to talk to the decathlon shop person about this and no solution was given, said to try on line. But this part is not sold separately. So basically a waist of money and time.
