Our trekking designers designed this simple and user-friendly stove for preparing your meals during treks and hikes.
Preparing meals during treks and hikes just got easier with this user-friendly stove. Its piezo ignition eliminates the need for a lighter, making it robust and easy to use.
Our trekking designers designed this simple and user-friendly stove for preparing your meals during treks and hikes.
This stove meets standard EN521. It must be used only with butane/propane cartridges compliant with standard EN417. The Decathlon Forclaz cartridges (100g, 230g, 450g) comply with the EN417 standard and are compatible with the Decathlon - Forclaz MT100, MT500 and MT500 Déporté stoves. Read the instructions and precautions for use attached to the stove.
To set up a gas cartridge, always do so in a ventilated place, preferably outdoors and never near a flame, heat source, spark, individuals or flammable materials. Check that your stove's gas inlet is properly closed and check the location and condition of the leakproof seal. Make sure that the cartridge is on a stable flat surface. Do not shake.
Keep the device IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION and screw in the cartridge by hand, turning it clockwise until it stops, taking care not to damage the thread. Follow the same instructions to take off the cartridge. It’s normal to hear a small pshtt sound (gas escaping) for less than 2 seconds when connecting the cartridge to the stove.
Stove weight: 184 g Box weight: 104 g Stove dimensions: Ø 12 x h 8.5 cm Box dimensions: L 10.2 x 10.2 x h 9 cm Weights, volumes & dimensions may vary slightly due to production tolerances.
Pan holder on 4 feet, perfectly compatible with all cooking pots Installation: Place the stove on the cartridge to align the threads. Screw. Assemble the stove on a flat, unobstructed surface. Open the flow control valve, operate the piezo (several times if necessary). Your stove is lit. We recommend you light your stove with a pan in place above the burner. Make sure the assembly is stable.
Our internal tests give us values that reflect the actual conditions of use. In fact, we tested our stoves with Trek 500 stainless steel pans, filled with a litre of water. Actual power result: boiling time for 1 L of water: 3min 48sec. Actual power: 2200 watts. Actual consumption: 158 g/hour. . The results and performance levels of different stoves must be analysed in a comparable way (same conditions and parameters).
The heating time of a stove is subject to a mandatory standardised process for EU certification but does not necessarily reflect the actual conditions of use. Standard EN521 parameters (heating rate): Propane gas at 3 bar pressure, without container. Rated power result: 4.1 kW / 293 g/h
Many parameters affect the capacity and performance of your stove: atmospheric pressure, wind, damp, etc. and can therefore change the boiling temperature, heating time as well as the number of litres heated with one cartridge. We strongly recommend using a windshield to optimise gas consumption. The performance of a stove is therefore assessed according to the gas consumed / heating speed.
Warning, this stove is not compatible with Coleman cartridges. Indeed, our design choices do not enable us to guarantee compatibility between the Coleman valve and the connector on our stove. There is no safety risk but the cartridge valve will not be open.
Elimination of surface treatments that have only an aesthetic function. As such, we have removed the paints and anodising on all the parts (feet & pan support, burner, gas flow control, etc.) of this stove, while still ensuring its performance, technical features and durability. These actions help to reduce the environmental impact of your product.
