Fitting and inflation
With the belt fastened around your waist, inflate the PFD belt by pulling down on the cord by your right hip (with it worn in front of you). This will immediately inflate it by activating the compressed CO2 cartridge. Then pass your head through the neck strap and top up the pressure of the bladder by blowing into the tube. If necessary, regularly readjust the belt during your activity
Deflation
Squeeze the air from the bladder by rolling it up towards the tube. Keep the end of the tube covered using the black cap.
Changing the single-use gas cartridge
Roll up the bladder (from the tube to the pouch) Make sure that the cartridge remains visible once the bladder is rolled up. Unscrew the old CO2 cylinder, lift up the inflation lever if necessary Lower the inflation lever, replace the green indicator, then replace the CO2 cylinder. Close the pouch fully. Single-use 15 g cartridge reference : 8555066

i shall be returning and asking for an exchange as one test pull of the cord and the green clip snapped and can't be clipped back on anymore.
We bought these to paddle board in order to use for freedom of movement. Thankfully we've not needed to use these but they are lightweight and have provided added security on the water.
Excellent reasonably priced alternative to premium brand versions. Works a treat but would not recommend for fast moving water or open sea where higher levels of buoyancy and tighter fit are recommended for safety. Replacement canisters and "rearming clip" are pricey though. Fortunately this product is compatible with 16g CO2 canisters that are commonly and cheaply available elsewhere. The rearming cap can be replaced by a strong rubber band or short piece of 2mm shock cord.
