We developed your jacket for wintry conditions: cold, rain and snow. The wadding insulation: 200 g/m² body and 150 g/m² arms. The lined hood also keeps your head well protected and warm.The elastic cuffs on the jacket hem and sleeves are the finishing touch to ensure your jacket is comfortable.

Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The warm hood, the elastic tightening at the cuffs and the high collar prevent the cold from entering. Two warm pockets in extremely soft fleece protect your hands from the cold.

The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, this waterproof jacket protects you from a downpour, i.e. 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.This jacket has a waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 12,000 mm H²0 (Schmerber) before washing.

Practical and smart details: 2 handwarmer pockets, 4 secure outer pockets, 1 secure inner pocket, 1 mesh inner pocket to keep your belongings close at hand.The main zip has a long zip puller. It has double sliders to ventilate your jacket when worn.Its warm hood is detachable as needed.

We designed this jacket with a comfortable fit so that it can be worn with a warm second layer such as a fleece.Its short jacket style is ideal for protecting you from the cold during your winter hikes in town or in the mountains.

To ensure the durability of our products, we perform tests on the selected components: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colour fastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the component on your jacket.

A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.

To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.

We have improved this product with an eco-design approach. The wadding and the outer fabric are made from recycled polyester guaranteeing effective product use.For the inner lining on the grey or red models, we have opted for mass pigmentation, integrating the colour pigments from the initial thread manufacture, which reduces water consumption.For the inner lining on the blue model , we use recycled polyester.
