Compression system
This MF540 freestyle scooter is assembled with an IHC compression system. It is very easy to adjust and helps to reduce play. This system should be tightened as soon as you notice any play in the headset. Simply take the bar off by unscrewing the collar clamp, then tighten the self-locking screw.
Brake
We designed a FLEX NYLON brake for this scooter. It is designed to return to its original shape after each push. The main difference compared to a spring brake is that it reduces vibrations and is lighter.This system also stops the rubber on the wheels from wearing out so quickly.
Handles
The ribbed TPE handles give you good grip.
Deck
Deck made from 6061 T6 aluminium. Its underside is flat for more stability when doing grinds. Its dimensions are: 120 mm x 530 mm. (4.7\" * 20.9\") The head tube angle is 83.5° Our \"DECK GRIP 900\" comes on this freestyle scooter. Headset is built in.
Wheels
The wheels measure 120 mm, with an aluminium body and 88A \"high rebound\" PU rubber. Supplied with long-lasting ABEC7 (608Z ABEC-7 NMB) bearings. This wheel size is more stable and faster for freestyle scootering.
Fork
The fork on this freestyle scooter is unique in that it\'s made from forged aluminium (the aluminium has been pressed several times to make it denser and more robust). The fork is compatible with wheels up to 120 m diameter and 24 mm thick. The spacers, which relieve the pressure exerted on the bearings, are integrated into the fork.
Pegs
This freestyle scooter has two aluminium pegs with two different lengths: one for the front (the longer one) and the other for the rear (the shorter one). The diameter of each PEG is 36mm. This makes grinds more stable and therefore easier to learn.
Y-bar
The Y-Bar on this freestyle scooter has a specific design with a BACK SWEEP (the bar is curved backward) and an UP SWEEP (the bar is curved upward) for greater comfort. It is made from 4310 chromoly steel. This handlebar is heavier yet sturdier than aluminium for safety.
