The Decathlon Basketball Play kit was designed to revolutionise the experience of playing basketball at home - play solo or challenge your friends!

What does the kit include?

The kit includes: - a detection ring easily installed on all baskets on the market. - a protective case for installing your phone on the post of your basket and protect it from impacts from the ball. - an app available from the Apple Store or Google Play.

How does the product work?

The detection ring connects to your phone using Bluetooth via the "Decathlon Basketball Play" app. The app offers a great variety of customisable GAMES, so you can have fun ALONE or WITH FRIENDS, as well as daily, monthly, and overall play STATISTICS with challenges to complete. You'll find all the information you need using the QR code on the product packaging.

What games come with this product?

SHOOT OUT > Score as many points as possible in the allotted time! SHOOT TRAINING > Set yourself targets for your shoot training! FREE PLAY > Play without restrictions and count your shots! TIME CLASH > Start your opponents' stopwatches by scoring! THE BOMB > Score to pass the ball to your opponents so that the bomb doesn't explode in your hands! THE BANK > Feed the bank by scoring, but don't miss where you'll collect the loot!

What does the kit measure?

For all balls size 5, 6, or 7, the kit will detect: - baskets made with a bounce off the hoop or the backboard, - baskets made without bouncing off the hoop or backboard ("Swish") - baskets missed, if the ball touches the backboard or hoop. It will not detect shots that don't touch the hoop or backboard ("airballs").

What phones can be used with "Decathlon Basketball Play"?

The "Decathlon Basketball Play" app is compatible with iOS 16 and greater, and Android 10 and greater. The protective case works with all phones between 6 and 9 cm wide, and 10 to 18.5 cm tall. You can also use the kit without the case, but without guaranteed protection.

Is the kit easy to install?

The detection ring is easy to install on all hoops on the market. It attaches inside the net, using the existing hooks. The phone case is also easy to install on the post using an attachment strap. Your phone is secured using a side tightening wheel. You can also place the case next to the court, within 8 m of the hoop to secure the Bluetooth connection.

What maintenance does this product require?

This product requires no particular maintenance. It can be cleaned with a wet cloth, and withstands extended exposure to weather. You'll just need to periodically change the battery (ref. CR2032, included), depending on your use.
