Living room reinforcement - There\'s an aluminium bar in the living room to stiffen the structure. Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm. 6 ground pegs are included. *600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length.

Fresh & black technology for a cooler, darker tent:

Cooler and darker for better sleep! Fresh & Black is a technology patented by Decathlon that allows us to reflect the sun\'s rays and insulate from the light thanks to specific materials. This reduces the sensation of heat in the tent and makes it darker. To get the most out of this technology, don\'t forget to ventilate your tent at night!

Waterproofing

We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

Repair

As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we care about the durability of our products. That\'s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.

Ventilation

The ventilated flysheet on the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside your tent. Outside each bedroom is a high ventilation hatch. Inside each bedroom is a large, low ventilation hatch. The living room comes with a mosquito net and the bedrooms with high mosquito nets.

Sun protection

Our Fresh&Black technology relies on a UPF 50+ sun protection fabric. Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.

Sleeping width

The large bedroom in this tent is intended to accommodate a maximum of three 70 cm wide mattresses. The small bedroom is intended to accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm wide mattresses. The partition between the 2 bedrooms is removable.

Pitching and dismantling

Inflatable all-in-one structure with pre-assembled bedrooms and flysheet. Using our Quechua Ultim Comfort pump with built-in pressure gauge, we recommend that you inflate the tubes to 7 PSI of pressure. To view this pump, copy the reference 8601387 and paste it into the search engine of our website. PUMP NOT INCLUDED To make it easier, we recommend that 2 people pitch the tent, although 1 person can manage. Floor surface area with guy ropes: 31m2

Living room

7.9 sqm living area with an inner tent height of 2.10 m. This tent includes several accessories: - A foldaway basin-shape zipped groundsheet at the entrance in case of rain - Transparent shuttered window - Shuttered mosquito net window - Storage pockets in the bedrooms and living room

Maintenance advice

Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it\'s important to store it when not in use.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. Well pitched with the guy ropes properly anchored, this tent remains habitable in a force 7 wind, measured at 60 km/h. Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).

Fantastic family tent. Blackou...

Fantastic family tent. Blackout room is a godsend. Easy for 1 or 2 people to put up and get down. Great little features like loads of pockets, ventilation openings to bedroom, a hanging line inside and you can flatten the front lip of the floor easily.

Love this tent. it did brilliantly well in hot weather. much cooler inside, and cooler again in the bedroom are. absolutely life saver in heatwaves. very easy to ut up, and the air beams never needed to be topped up as I see others doing when camping. I am just buying the smaller sized version for festivals I liked it so much. only down slide is the ground sheet not being zipped in all the way around.

Quechua 5.2 fresh and black.

I've had this tent for well over two years and I can say it's been fantastic, there's plenty of room to move around and with it being airbeam it's huge compared to pole type. The living area is massive and so are the bedrooms and with it being blackout you do sleep longer and it's cooler. I cannot wait for the summer to come and it'll be getting put to good use yet again in the lake district. No issues with it so far.
