Excellent

Does the job. Having stabilisers has given my daughter lots of confidence in learning to ride. Happy days ahead.

Good product

Really solid metal stabiliser, quite heavy and robust. The only issue is the connector only has one screw and the other part just rests again the bike, in order to fix this I just use 2 plastic ties, now it is super solid. My son has ridden his bike several times in the park on bike paths and on uneven terrain and no problems so far. The quick and easy fit is the best aspect of this product but I would recommend getting a couple of plastic ties from your local DIY shop.

Really dangerous. Do not buy. Also wrecks frame

I have bought two Btwin bikes for my kids and been really happy with them, but these stabilisers are a disaster: 1 - They fell off several times in a short ride on my daughters 20" Btwin mountain bike even though I had tightened them as much as I could with the spanner provided with the bike. The design flaw is that they have an arm which holds onto but is not fastened to the frame. If the wheel hits a bump, that is enough force to dislodge this from the frame and collapse the stabiliser. My daughter fell off and hurt herself several times as a result 2 - Where the arm meets the frame is a just a metal bracket resting on metal frame and constantly moving, so within a minute had worn off the paint on her brand new bike. This is very poor design. A simple piece of rubber or better a fastening camp would make this much safer and secure. In the meantime I will try using plastic ties to try to stop this happening made it still feels really unsafe. I want Decathlon to replace these dangerous items but they don't seem to have any better product.

Just right

Great training wheels, sturdy. They do need tightening regularly but not a problem.

Not great. But it surves it’s purpose

I had the same experience as other reviewers, they loosened up ever 10meters. I glued the screews into place. Problem resolved. The biggest issue I had was, they scratched the paint on the bike.

Manual screw problems

Tje manual screws will loosen no matter how jard you fasten them. I had to use a plier to prevent them from loosening, but there is a chance that this will damage the plastic.

Dear Rajapratap,

I'm sorry you're having a bad experience with the stabilisers. If they are getting detached, it's either a problem with the product or with the way they were attached.

Do you think you could take the bicycle back to the store so that we can have a look at it and fix it?

Regards,
