This inner tube is suitable for 27.5" diameter tyres with a cross-section ranging from 2.50 to 3.00 with a 48mm Presta valve.
Choosing an inner tube:
To maintain your bike properly, it is important to know the exact dimensions of your tyres. This information can be found on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and section). For example, 27.5x2.50 means that the tyre is 27.5 inches in diameter and 2.50 inches wide.
On the tyre sidewall you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units.
For example, 50-584 means your tyre is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 584 mm (27.5 x 2.00).
To remove the inner tube, you will need the following tools:
Remove the old inner tube using B'Twin tyre levers
Checks to make before installing an inner tube:
To avoid repeated punctures, carefully inspect the tyre, rim and wheel rim each time you change tyres.
How to change an inner tube:
Slightly inflate the inner tube before installation.. Insert the valve into the opening provided, place the inner tube in the tyre, push it firmly into the rim and avoid pinching.
Fitting a tyre:
Start mounting the tyre at the valve.
Finish mounting the tyre opposite the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube.
Never mount your tyre with a tool or a tyre lever, as you risk pinching and puncturing the inner tube.
Inflating a tyre:
Inflate to the recommended pressure, in bar or PSI.Check that the tyre does not come loose during the process.
Pro advice:
Tyre pressure must be adjusted before each ride to prevent punctures caused by pinching.
