This tent kept me alive at Bloodstock festival.

This tent was water proof during some pretty intense rain, it also acted as a great shield from my lovely but clumsy mates who kept falling on top of it. It also looked great compared to some of the whoppers people tried to pass of as a tent, they where mystified by my tents quality by the time Judas Priest hit the main stage. Life was just better in this tent and I sit in my house now craving a simpler time.

Best tent

Bought this & thought I would put it up before going away it was as simple as they say up and down in no time at all will post later on how it performs after my holiday to Wales have only given 4 stars as I haven’t camped out in it yet

Can't fault it, exceeded expectations

As a non camper I wasn't sure what to get or look for so bought more out of hope. No problems setting it up, ultra easy. Space inside was about what I expected for me and my wife. Three ppl would be a squeeze. What made this tent so good was that we slept through a monsoon and I wondered if for such a bargain it would hold out the wet. Absolutely! Completely bone dry come the morning and this despite the area we camped in being flooded. Folding up - I watched a short online video and was relatively straight forward to follow - took me about 5 minutes to figure out, and it went in the bag no problem. Have camped several days and its been perfect.

Easy up and down. Great value

I didn’t expect the description to be so accurate, but it really does go up and down very easily. The first time putting in down I watched an online yTube video first, as I’ve not had a pop-up tent before. Fantastic. I’ve already bought a second one for friends.

flat pack tent!

Not sure I believed the description/video that this pop up tent could be set up and repacked in a few minutes - but it can. it is also very well made and at a keen price.

No instructions

Don't bother buying it unless you know how to tie the jumbled mass of guy ropes because you get zero instructions with the tent.

2 Tears/Rips!

We have the Black-Out version of this which seems to be of a better build quality. The Blue one we purchased last week has 2 rips in it, actually it appears as if the stitching has broken or simply come away. I am trying to contact Decathlon to organise a replacement as we are camping again next week but this seems to be difficult at present.

Excellent tent but a few things to consider

You really can't beat this tent for value. It's got the feel and performance of a far more expensive tent. I've had quite a few tents over the years varying in price and quality so think I have good grounds for comparison. It packs away quite flat and is very light which makes it easy to pack in the car. Once you've got the hang of putting it down it really makes camping easy. I mostly do 2 nights a time in it, but have done 4 nights before. Calling it a 3 man is a bit hopeful. My wife and 6 year old daughter stayed in it with me one time but it was a squeeze, and we were touching the inner tent with no real room to put any stuff. I tend to use it on my own and sleep diagonally (I'm 5 foot 10). It gives me plenty of room to put my kit without it, or me, touching the sides. Wind, rain - it stays dry and upright even in some pretty persistent heavy weather. Only issue is when the tent is wet/raining you get dripped on when you open the door and the wet door has a tendency to fall inside due to the angle it's at. No porch so muddy boots tend to be removed whilst sat just inside the door with legs outside. You then need somewhere to put them, so more reason not to have 3 people in it. I don't need to replace it as there is nothing wrong with it at all even after considerable use, but if I do it will only be for one of the newer models with more features like a porch and overhang above the door.

Pitching and striking the tent

Quick pitching. The tent is free-standing: you can place it wherever you want once it has been deployed in order to choose the best location. When there is no wind, you do not have to anchor it with tent pegs. This tent is easy to fold away using the guiding system.

Mattress compatibility

Recommended tent with a self-inflating mattress or trekking mattress up to 60 cm wide.We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses, that are more than 6 cm thick, in this tent.Indeed, this greatly reduces the volume inside the tent and increases condensation inside.

Ventilation of the tent

So that air can flow and be replaced between the bedroom and the flysheet, and eliminate the natural condensation as much as possible, the tent has 1 air vent at the top.

Waterproofing of the tent

All our tents are validated in the laboratory and in the field to guarantee the waterproofing. To do this, we put the entire tent under a 200 L/h shower for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester and the groundsheet is made of 120g/m² polyethylene. All the seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 50 km/h measured near ground level (Force 6).

What does my product contain?

- 1 pre-assembled bedroom- 1 waterproof fly sheet- 9 tent pegs- 7 guy ropes- 1 cover

Our environmental approach

Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. This bedroom of this tent is made of a greige fabric which means that the fabric is not dyed. The colour is in its raw state. The dye is one of the processes that has the most environmental impact. This is still not enough and that's why we are working to ensure that this tent will be eco-designed by 2026.

Warranty of your tent:

This camping tent was designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the countryside.Continuous exposure to UV light over a period of several weeks can damage its textile part. Our tents do not belong to the category of "garden furniture" and are not designed to be kept outdoors permanently. To maximise the lifetime of your tent, it's important to store it properly when it is not being used.3-year guarantee.

Don't throw away, repair!

Our tents are great for camping at night.Over time, they age and some parts may wear out or break. To facilitate repairs, we keep a stock of parts (tent poles, flysheets, bedrooms, etc.) so that they can be easily replaced. Don't throw away, repair !
