After spending £300 on a paddle board, the first trip was cut short due to the side hissing air right along the board. Direct replacement not in stock offered a display board at no discount knowing this has been sitting on display for months. With products at this price I expected better from a company so big. Also ran out of pumps when I come to collect so had to travel to Argos at Berwick upon tweed 1.5 hours away just so we could use it. The staff member we dealt with was outstanding and had been to the best help she can provide. Will wait to see a response from this review.

Hello Jamie,

I'm extremely sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with your paddle board, and I can assure you that this is not the quality we expect our products to meet! I can only apologise about any inconvenience caused to your trip as a result of this.

I've issued a gift card to compensate for the inconvenience and stress this may have caused, and hope you find this to be satisfactory in this situation. You will receive this via email shortly.

If you would like to discuss anything further feel free to contact me via email!

Many thanks,

Poor quality and poorly designed.

I have access to over 20 boards through my work and lots of experience in teaching paddle boarding. This new model is considerably poorer quality than other boards available at the same price and the sides quickly develop leaks which need to be repaired. The material is not as durable as the previous Itiwit boards and the leash is terrible as it is not coiled. This means that it drags in the water and gets in the way. The repair kit does not come with glue and the fin comes off very easily and sinks. We have lost 3x fins now; one per day. I hope Decathlon will read this and arrange a return. I live 200 miles from the nearest store so it is not a question of just dropping the boards off.

our boards

looks nice blown up in the living room. folds up easily! Still to try on water.

SUP novice

Excellent so far… does what it says on the bag. My teenagers had a great time messing about on a lake.

Great product

Easy to inflate and deflate, great fun, super stable for beginners... Just be careful to. Avoid the fin going on the floor or very shallow water.

not very durable

This was a great board to start with but after one season it perished along one of the fold creases.

Good paddle board, bad accessories

I understand not including a paddle or pump to let you choose your own. But not including a coiled leash is just cheap. The paddle board itself is amazing. I just don't like the single sewed leash hook that doesn't feel too strong. Adding an extra hook for attaching other stuff e.g., in the front would be nice too.

Read all the reviews , but made my own decision to buy 2 for me and my lads . These are superb, great quality , they are solid when pumped up to correct pressure. Are easy to paddle and fast too . set up and down in 10 mins easy . fit nicely into bags and easy to transport . Bought pump separate - which had a faulty pressure guage - but the brilliant Manager at Rushden store exchanged without question - and was super helpful when buying too . Basically got 2 boards/ paddles/ pump for the price of 1 expensive popular brand board!

Great board

A good entry level board for the money. Had lots of fun out on the water during the summer. Packs away well into carry ruck sack.

Great board

We have a decathlon sup we bought about 4 years ago, this one shows great evolved touches, especially with transporting it. More room in the bag and straps to keep the board in place. Can easily fit the paddle and pump in now too. Carry straps are very comfy too. Board is very responsive and has been great for our experienced teens.

Great fun

We bought these boards and have taken them along Hertfordshire and London canals and also on the Cornish sea. Had lots of fun with them!

Absolutely brilliant

I bought this board this summer after much deliberation and it is the best thing I’ve bought in a long time. I didn’t know whether to spend more on one but was loathe to fork out £800 on something I wasn’t sure how much I was going to enjoy and use. This Decathalon one is perfect. It doesn’t sag in the middle as people warn you with cheaper boards, and unlike my friend’s expensive Jobe one, it is nice and nimble to steer in the water and a dream to pack away. I’ve used it loads and have lots more adventures planned.

Perfect paddleboard at a competitive price

New to this game so not sure what to expect ... but it seemed ideally suited to a novice and was ideal for ferrying children around safely. Ideal

Great board

The bag is so comfortable and well made, I can carry it comfortably on my back while cycling. You can feel the quality of this board while using it. It's stable and has plenty of space to carry gear at the front. It is more expensive than others boards available for beginners but I am so happy I spent more and got this board instead. I've been out with it dozens of times. The only tiny concern I have is that the light colour means that dirty patches show more and are harder to clean (on the soft padding).
