Pump

Looks smart on my renovated 1983 Dawes Jaguar.

It actually works

Unlike some handpumps this actually works for both types of valve. Not the longest pump obviously so it takes a bit of effort to get the tyre up to pressure.

Leaking air

Trying to fill air using schrader valve. But leaking air from other side (presta valve) as soon as pump is attached to valve.

Great compact pump.

A good quality pump. Nice and compact.

Quality product

Another brilliant buy from Decathlon

Pump Great, holder not so great

The pump works well especially on the higher pressure road tyres but the holder doesn’t hold the pump in place and comes loose over the 1st bump therefore buy the pump and put in the pocket on the back of your jersey and bin the holder.

Compact Road Hand Pump

The smallest and compact pump that I have seen, great to carry, sturdy and suitable for bikes with thin tyres and tubes

Works well as a back up

Simple, light, effective.

This unit need approximately 500 pumps to get a 700x25 tire up to 100 psi (and those last 100 pumps aren't easy) but it effectively does the job.

Poor

Very poor product as it does not inflate a bit even aftr 100 tries.

Hello Aswin,

Thanks for taking out time to give us your feedback. I would like to understand if you are using the pump on the right side for the right valve, it connects to all types of valve (Presta, Schrader) by screwing in. Adapts using the dual head.

1) Select the connector that matches your inner tube valve (black: large valve (Schrader) and grey: thin valve (Presta).

2) Fully screw the head onto the valve.

3) Unscrew the handle rotating it to the left.

4) Inflate to the desired pressure

Also make sure that if it is a presta valve, you have loosened the tip of the valve.

If it still does not work, please feel free to reach out to the nearest Decathlon Store, they will be happy to help you.

Thanks

Worst

This is the worst road pump i have ever used. I have been into cycling for the past 1 year and still now i haven't been able to use this to inflate my cycle tires. Also I used straps from decathlon to tie the pump to my cycle stem and am sorry to say but my cycle stem is now full of scratches. I would never recommend this product from decathlon for such a huge price point.

Hello Aswin,

Thanks for taking out time to give us your feedback. I would like to understand if you are using the pump on the right side for the right valve, it connects to all types of valve (Presta, Schrader) by screwing in. Adapts using the dual head.

4) Inflate to the desired pressure

Also make sure that if it is a presta valve, you have loosened the tip of the valve. Also, the hand pump is like an emergency pump and would be difficult to achieve 100% of air fill. As the pressure in the tube increases it becomes tougher and tougher to pump and fill air.

I am again sorry to hear about the scratches on your stem. Are you talking about your seat tube ? If that is the case maybe a little adjustment when you put it, please try to see that it doesn't touch it to avoid those scratches.

If it still does not work, please feel free to reach out to the nearest Decathlon Store, they will be happy to help you.

Thanks
