Great repair kit

Easy to use and perfect for an urgent replacement of a lost pole.

No insructions

When I connect the poles I have one raw fibreglass end and one metal collar end. The end pieces, used to stretch the pole into the flysheet hole, won't fit over or into the collar.

Hi there, one of the long poles for my Quechua 4.1 has broken. Is this kit suitable to replace it please? The tent has 2 long poles and one short one.

A good little kit

Has everything you need for a simple repair, although Decathlon only seem to sell this one kit in store. Given that my Quechua tent alone had 2 entirely different sized poles in it (9.5mm & 11mm) you wonder why rhey don't sell these? Are we being discouraged from repairing otherwise perfectly good tents?

No instructions

I guess this will work - but I don't know what to do with the little metal things - what are they for? I have looked at online instructions but it makes no mention of them.

Hello and thank you for your feedback.
The small metal parts are used to stretch the tent pole into the ring of the flysheet. Please contact one of our shops if you need advice on how to set up your tent.
See you soon at Decathlon!

Two poles should be an inch smaller

I had two person tent and I lost one tent pole. Now these (bunch of 10)poles I ordered are all of the same size while the one that came with the tent had two end poles an inch smaller. When I fix the (7)new ones it strains the whole tent while the older ones fixes with ease. Please take this into consideration and create according to your products.

Length Is Different From Original

My tent pole was damaged so I bought this product but the length is bigger than the original pole .if we setup tent it is very tight

Replacement poles

Excellent for a 4 person QUECHUA tent.

Worked just fine

Excellent quality

Bought this for my Coleman tent and it works perfectly fine. Thanks to the salesman who cleared my doubt about the poles

Good Strength

I bought this product to fix my child's toy tent and it was the perfect size. The fiberglass sticks are bendy enough to hold a child's tent and strong enough that they don't break.

Good for Making Boxing Reflex/Cobra/BlackMamba Bag

Used to make a boxing reflex cobra bag, very nice and snappy. Maybe 11mm poles or aluminium version of this may work better however.

I bought these to be used for my 6.3 tent bought from Decathalon and came to know they don’t sell the replacement part for that tent and only have poles for small tent. I don’t know how such company will sustain and will keep on selling stuff with zero after sale spare parts.

The NEEDLE in this pack is life-safer!

I have Arpenaz 2XL and I have been using this tent from Aug 2015 till Aug 2018 with rough usage clocking over 150 camp days in this tent during this period. After monsoon season of 2018 my tent elastic cord snapped. I tried every wire possible (electric/copper/aluminium procured from hardware shops) but only this wire worked like a needle and managed to re-thread my poles. Thanks to the Decathlon Noida store staff (the best store in NCR with the most helpful, knowledgeable staff) for the advise & for also letting me borrow the needle as I couldn't afford to buy this whole fibre poles pack just for the needle. Re-threading poles is definitely not the easiest thing, but I managed with the help of YouTube videos on the subject. Also I tore my fly-sheet, but I had a tube of Seam Grip WP (sold on Amazon) which did the job and made my tent as good as new! Decathlon India should think of setting up tent repair workshop in-store for such manageable repairs like pole snapping, cord snapping, fly-sheet tear repairs. It's better for the environment. Don't throw away gear BUT REPAIR. Also bring back old tents like Arpenaz 2XL series.
