This Tent is great! Super easy to put up and take down. It got a good test last weekend as we had a storm, strong winds, heavy rain and then up to 19c sunshine. The tent stayed put I don’t even recall hearing/feeling it shake and wobble in the wind. The blackout feature is perfect for putting the kids to bed. The rooms are spacious. Highly recommend this tent!
Camping was always in my life and in various terrains (hot summers in Greece by the beach but also cold nights in the Spring at high altitudes). I have used and shared a lot of tents. As it says on the title, this is my first inflatable tent and it will be used for family mainly camping excursions; currently in my garden for this review, hence I won't mention challenging situations such as strong wind of heavy rain. It is a brilliantly designed tent, with a single door, spacious enough in the common area and consists of two separate bedrooms of generous size. they are very dark and adequately ventilated. It is extremely easily and fast to set it up; I bet my two boys can do it on their own, so top marks on this one! Very good quality materials and good aesthetics and overall architecture. Although difficult to find flaws, I would recommend the following 3 improvement suggestions (with which I would give 5 stars): 1 - On the main door, there is NO horizontal zip!! an animal could easily sneak in at any opportunity! Our cat found it straight away!! 2 - The main door does not offer a net to allow ventilation but keep the mosquitos and other insects out 3 - Finally this could easily have two instead of a single door; let the user decide how they prefer to use it.
So easy to put up and the blackout really works. The kids slept in till 8!
I've only tested the tent in my garden for one night, so I can't give a proper review until I've gone for a longer adventure. Everything seemed to work fine and it was really easy to put up. Comfortable and dry and the darkened bedrooms were appreciated. I would have given this 5 stars, but I was under the impression this was a European made tent, which it isn't. I think for that for those of us that are concerned about the planet (for all and any reasons), it would be useful for the manufacturers and retailers to clearly explain where their products are made.
Greatbtent, easy to set up and to take down.
Am delighted we bought this tent. It looks really great, it stayed dry for us in heavy rain and was even more lovely in the sunshine!! I have a young family, 3 kids 5 and under and there is plenty of space for my husband, the kids and I. The blackout sleeping rooms are brilliant, and the children even slept a little later than usual! The living area is spacious and we were able to fit in a small blow up couch and the pop up cupboard to store some of our many camping essentials!! It is a lovely cosy little living space. We got a little rug for the floor and that helps keep warmth underfoot and I do recommend buying a tent footprint, to protect the ground sheet of the tent - as it is fully attached to this tent, it may also help aid the need to quickly deflate and pack away without having too much dirt to brush off. My tent footprint arrived after the season ended so looking forward to testing that hypothesis next spring.
I was a little skeptical about purchasing an air tent. But it was so easy to erect, clear instructions inside bag. But soon found my an issue unzipped the door, was very tight, just about managed to zip it up from outside. When I got inside later, and went to zip door closed noticed the seem had started coming apart. Otherwise I was impressed with this tent. Black out feature for the sleeping compartments is great, my youngest slept longer than she does at home! Living area is plenty big enough for unit, small table and chairs.
I had my doubts about inflatable tents however this one has proved to be great. Really easy to put up and take down. the black out bedrooms are amazing and like no other tent I’ve ever had before! The communal area is spacious with an over hung door to stop rain water dripping inside. The downsides are that you have to have the correct pump to inflate the “poles”, you can’t use an electric pump and the tent also weighs a ton!
Just got back after our first camping trip as a 4! I have two young boys 2 & 5 so ease to erect tent was essential! This tent did not disappoint! My wife managed the children and I had this tent up and pegged within 10 minutes! It was windy, rainy and sunny throughout the trip! The tent remained solid and dry through the bad weather and cool when it was hot! Can’t recommend this tent enough!!!! The blackout rooms were really nice too, kids slept in! Buy this tent!
Just got back from a trip to the Outer Hebrides with this new tent. I don't usually write reviews, but this is certainly worthy of one. The tent is really well designed and very quick to put up and take down (both about 10 minutes with just one person including all guys and packing in the bag). While I was quite worried one night, the tent withstood gale force 8 without a problem. The blackout bedrooms are life changing - having the kids sleep in on a camping trip is amazing. It feels much better quality and material than a larger vango one I got a few years ago. It's a great size for a family of 4 as there is loads of space in the centre if the weather isn't great. Highly recommended
This tent is really quick to put up and take down. But: - sleeping areas feel somewhat cramped when using inflatable mattresses. - no way of zipping the bottom of the main door of then tent - so rather draughty - tunnel tents of similar size seem to have bigger/more usable living area
I've just returned from my first camping tent in this tent with my 2 teenage sons for 5 nights. The weather on the first night was terrible with strong winds and heavy rain. I lay there worrying all night and couldn't sleep because of the noise, but I needn't have worried. The tent stood up to the weather brilliantly. The tent was so easy to put up and take away too. Can't wait for our next trip.
Set this up before a trial run once the uk campsites open, brilliant tent, so practical, we are experienced campers and this is our first inflatable tent. So easy to put up. First attempt took us around 25 minutes, think we could get this down to 10 to 15. Lots of pockets and our first night in the garden was a great sleep, black out really good. Looks even better set up than the picture.
Probably the best family tent out there, all things considered. Had ours for three years and it’s been great BUT as it’s so big and heavy it’s really hard to dry it effectively. Even if it hasn’t rained the base will inevitably be wet from the ground it’s been sat on. We’ve looked after ours and dried it as well as we could each time but it’s still developed mildew all over the flysheet. As the tent is quite light in colour it’s very noticeable. Otherwise it’s great and we’ll be buying a new one as this tan colour is lovely.
I had my doubts about inflatable tents but this is the best tent I have ever used or owned. Very easy to erect and take down, and can easily be done by one person. The layout of the inflatable poles means the tent will stand without guy ropes, even in strong winds. And compared to a rigid pole tent, this just wobbles around in the wind rather than twisting and risking damage to the poles. DECATHLON/QUENCHA, PLEASE CONTINUE TO MAKE TENTS WITH THIS TYPE OF LAYOUT, RATHER THAN JUST TUNNEL TENTS. It has a small lip over the door and the opposite window so you can open them without rain running in. Almost every other tent on the market has a sloping front door so if you open it in the rain you get a big puddle of water inside the tent. The blackout bedrooms are very dark, which is great for summer camping. The central section is well ventilated, with a mesh roof panel. My tent has stood up to heavy rain and strong winds without any problems, and no leaks. All round an excellent tent.

We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour.
