Excellent family tent

Bought this as our first ever tent. Now taken on two trips including a music festival. It's great. Easy to put up and take down. It's big and the blackout feature really works. Air ventilation for hot days is easy and works well. The blow up supports need a strong pump (we bought a rechargeable automatic hand pump from Amazon which couldn't do it!), so bear that in mind. Also it is quite heavy so you wouldn't be able to walk far carrying it, you need a car or trolley to move it to your pitch.

Lazy camping

So this is my first 'propper' tent. I'm a person that likes an easy Life and this suits me to the ground. So quick and easy to put up and take down. Really could not fault this product

My new favourite tent!

I bought this tent last year (2020) as my beloved 3 man Outwell had come to the end of its life, I love it. We camped on a very exposed site in the West Country during Storm Evert (29 July 21) and whilst other tents buckled, bowed, broke and flattened ours stood strong and watertight. This is a very comfortable tent for 2 people but would be a bit of a squash and a squeeze for 4 adults. I love the various pockets and hooks but as others have commented, would prefer double zips to allow for different options of ventilation. I also like the option of the removable living space groundsheet This is an incredibly easy tent to pitch, top marks. Due to amazing water repellancy properties it takes longer than many other tents to dry off before packing away. I bought a cheap window cleaning gadget on an extendable pole handle to aid swiping water off the top of the tent (out of my reach!) Air tents are brilliant but the pack-away size is considerably larger and heavier than a traditional pole tent and of course you can't separate the poles from the tent to spread the load when carrying. So definitely think about this before you buy.

So simple to set up!

This is a great tent. Two of us had it pitched in 20 minutes at the first attempt. Recommend a mat for inside the front door and do wish it had a zip along the bottom of front door. Bedrooms are fab.

Easy to pitch but in a windy night it's cold insid

I bought this tent last week and went on a camping to Woolavombe bay which is very close to the beach. On a windy night it was very cold inside because the ground sheet is not fully sewn in and the wind comes from every corner of the bedroom. I wouldn't recommend this tent for the families with young children. I am now considering to return this tent and buy a better one. To be honest it's a very strong tent specially on a windy environment, in four night i haven't pumped it up.

Wonderful tent

Wonderful tent, so easy to erect and also to take down & store. The blackout interior is fantastic .

Great tent, pain to put away

This tent absolutely needs an oversized bag and would recommend buying one for it. It’s an absolute dog to put away, regardless of that though once up, which is a breeze to do, is a lovely tent. Very spacious living room area which we got a table and chairs in. The bedrooms are probably smaller than you expect but I had a vango double air bed in there and if you pitch our tent correctly the sides don’t touch, if you are quite tall though you might find it on the small side with 2 people. The black out rooms are fantastic and a game changer for me, no more waking up at 6am because of the light. Def worth buying but yeah, get an oversized bag to help you put it away, and spare tent pegs because they aren’t the strongest like most tent pegs that come as standard.

Easy and quick to erect.

Easy for one person to erect if you are a solo traveler. Little bit harder to take down and get it back in the bag.

Amazing tent

First time camping. Family of three. Tent easy to put up and solid in rainy weather. Lots of room and well designed with two sleeping quarters. Lots of room in the living area but also bought a small gazebo to cook outside. Be good if had a zip at main entrance at the bottom but not a problem.

Best value air tent - needs a footprint though!

This is our first air tent after looking at equivalents at double the price, we decided to give this a try. I love camping but my OH hates it... until this tent. He's now willing to go camping and a rainy forecast isn't putting him off! It took me 10min to put up by myself, usually a job that took over an hour with our poled tent. We had one windy night but tent didn't budge. Poles stayed at 7psi all week and took us 20min to pack away. We had a week in 20⁰C+ sun in Cornwall and the Fresh and Black technology kept out tent lovely and cool all week. The added vents in the bedrooms meant we had great circulation and no condensation. We are now looking at a week in Northumbria in wet and windy weather so testing the other extreme. As a whole, I have given this 5 stars as for the money its amazing. If I could improve it, I would offer a porch and a footprint, as this comes with neither. There is the Base living room but it's not specific for this tent. The living space is ample, but with bad weather forecast, an area outside to cook in would help. I also think the footprint would stop any damage/dirt to the groundsheets for the bedroom and living area. This would prolong the life of the tent. I've now made one to fit this tent so it should be OK, but still, be nice to have a purchasable option of a ready made one.

Excellent, apart from doorway

This is my first inflatable tent and I love many aspects of it, fast to put up and take down, good space in bedrooms, blackout bedroom stayed cool even in full sun, love the colour, excellent ventilation, very strong built. My only gripe is the front door that is too low. We are tall (6'3 and 5'9) and constantly bang our head on the door. Also it opens from bottom to top and had to be rolled up, which is a two person job. Why wasn't it mad to open and roll to one side? Everything else is brilliant for the price.

3 years of using it, but one major flaw

Spent many long weeks in the tent. Survived unbelievable rain and wind, never leaked, all the zips are perfect and I love the layout of the bedrooms either side of the tent. so why 2 stars ? The doors cant be sealed around the bottoms so the ground sheet isn't sealed and there is no insect mesh. So whilst I was sat reading I regularly witnessed moths climbing up over the ground sheet to fly around the tent. Not so annoying. But earwigs are a different story, they climb up into the tent and having squashed 14 of them the last night of my camp I decided time to get rid and upgrade to a fully enclosed ground sheet. Not to mention it also gets cold on a windy day with the wind blowing through. Shame because its a 5 star tent if it was bug proof. You can laterally sit in the living room at night and see what crawls in.

Life changer!

I have not been camping for 5 years as I’m a single mum now with two children and a big dog! The pandemic makes my desperate to get out now so I invest on this tent! OMG this is life changing, I used to put up a traditional tent in the rain for 1 hour but this took me 15 mins! My 10 years can put up on herself too! The packing is tricky but still lots easier. We camped near coast so we had storm and heavy rain. I was worried at night if the tent got blowed up but no, it kept sturdy and dry. We are camping next week in Cornwall, and I’m looking forward to the trip now!

We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm.
