Design
This model includes two detachable parts:- Shin guard- Foot guard.The karate shin guard and foot guards are made using thick foam pads that cover the entire tibia and instep to guarantee complete protection from impacts.The synthetic leather coating (polyurethane) provides very good resistance to wear. Large elastic velcro bands ensure that your tibia and the underside of your foot are supported.
How to choose a shin guard
- For use in training, choose a classic model.- For use in competition, opt for a World Karate Federation (WKF) certified model.
How to choose a shin guard size
The shin and foot guards are available in sizes S, M, L and XL.- Size S: if you are between 134 and 152 cm tall- Size M: if you are between 152 and 170 cm tall- Size L: if you are between 170 and 188 cm tall- Size XL: if you are between 188 and 200 cm tallAdjust the shin and foot guard using the rear elastic velcro strap.
Directions for use
To be worn with bare feet, without socks.After use, remember to dry out your shin guard. This avoids build up of unpleasant odours and increases the life of your protective equipment.
Care advice
Wipe clean with a damp cloth dipped in soapy water. Allow to air dry.Do not leave near a heat source, such as a radiator.

Very well made, firm with soft lining
This is not a Shin and Foot Guard, it is a Shin Guard and a Foot Guard. The one photo shown is entirely misleading. The Shin and Foot are two separate items held together by a tiny piece of velcro with about a 15mm gap between the two items. Hugely misleading selling - get yourself combined shin/foot guards or separates anywhere else.
My karate association don’t use the foot or shin guards so I use them for kickboxing instead and they are great!
