Product description

Thanks to its synthetic down, this padded jacket will keep you warm on cold days. Its vents allow you to adjust the temperature if necessary.

This men's padded ski jacket will keep you warm in cold weather thanks to its synthetic down filling. Lightweight, it features air vents to help regulate your body temperature when you are skiing.

Description

Thanks to its synthetic down, this padded jacket will keep you warm on cold days. Its vents allow you to adjust the temperature if necessary.

Practical and comprehensive accessories for all your outings.

- 2 hand pockets - 2 large chest pockets (inside and outside) - 1 inner mesh pocket - 1 ski pass pocket - 1 mask cloth - Snow skirt - Ventilation zips - Wrist cuffs - Removable hood

Waterproof (15,000 mm Schmerber) and tested in real-life conditions.

Although the fabric chosen is highly waterproof, the assembly of a down jacket doesn’t provide flawless waterproofing. It is therefore ideal for cold/very cold weather, but is not suitable for heavy rain.

Water repellent jacket, like all Quechua jackets.

A fabric's water-repellent property is its ability to let water slide off its surface without soaking in. The fabric doesn’t soak up water and so remains lightweight, breathable and warm. It is made from a treatment on the outside of the fabric, which must be renewed (every 3 washes).

A very warm down jacket for guarding against cold, winter days.

The synthetic fibre filling of this down jacket makes it very warm so you can face temperatures down to -13°C. Ideal for cold days or for waiting periods on ski lifts.

The vents provide fresh air when needed.

Although this jacket is warm above all else, if you need a bit of fresh air after exercise, you can open and adjust the ventilation zips under the arms and on the front of the jacket according to your needs.

The 500 Warm padded jacket is designed with a membrane component.

This is a very thin polyurethane film that makes the material waterproof while remaining breathable. More flexible, lightweight, resistant and often more breathable than coating, which is less expensive and requires a protective lining, similar to paint applied to the inside of the fabric.

This product is repairable.

During the two-year guarantee period, if your product can be repaired (hooks, seams, zips, etc.), the repairs are done free of charge. Beyond this time period, they can still be done for a fee, locally in your usual shop.

Weight.

Between 0.9 kg in size S and 1.8 kg in size 3XL. 1.2 kg in size L.

How should you dress under your ski jacket?

When skiing, we talk about the three-layer rule: A first thermal layer (ski base layer), a second layer (fleece or down jacket) and a third layer, your jacket. Adapt the second layer to suit the conditions, or take along a bag so you can take it off during the day.

How to restore the jacket's water-repellent properties?

The water-repellency of your jacket must be regularly reactivated (every three washes): over time, even if it remains waterproof thanks to its material, the jacket seems to start absorbing water. To do this, use a reactivating spray or a treatment reapplication product, and follow the tutorial in the customer service section of our website.
