These are the same shoes as my wife purchased. Good choice for walking in muddy/wet conditions
Excellent walking shoes. I've used them mainly on tarmac cycle path occasionally over rough ground and found them very comfortable, hard wearing so far, waterproof though for very wet conditions I use decathlon short Wellington's which are also v g
Have been wearing the shoes for about a month now and they are great the sole is still like new and hard wearing I'm very impressed by the sole but the inner sole could be better its comfortable enough but for the price it great value the uper shoe is very easy to wipe clean. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS SHOE
No pressure to buy
Bought on impulse, great decision. Have not worn in wet conditions so can’t comment on waterproof, hence 4 star, but they are comfortable and keep my feet warm. I have now purchased a pair for my son and looking to get a pair for my grandson. Excellent value for money
Comfortable, cosy and light! Excellent walking shoes.
Shoes are really warm as well as being waterproof Recommend them if you need waterproof shoes.
Wider range of colours required
Bought these as a general all round shoe, quite a heavy shoe but pretty comfortable and reasonable price and decent quality.
You won't go wrong with these shoes. Well padded around ankles. Cushioned walk with good support. Nice looking with good quality laces. Nice grippy soles. Great value.
It's the first time I'm writing a review on Decathlon purchase. Bought a pair of those shoes in middle of August for my son. He's been wearing them for 2 months, mostly to school and a few outdoor outings. Those shoes are sucking water like a sponge. Insoles are stinking and went mouldy now. Each day I need to take the insoles out and dry them on the radiator together with the shoes. Not waterproof at all. They are soaking wet inside only after walking on the wet grass or on the pavement. I've inspected them and the shoes are badly glued around the rubber outside and it's the reason they are taking water in. Badly made. We had exactly the same make shoes bought for my older son over a year ago and they were brilliant keeping his feet dry. It was the reason I have chosen exactly the same make for my other son but they are not waterproof anymore. I would gladly take them back but do not have a receipt anymore but I have a Decathlon customer card.
Shoe is great apart from the sole has worn out already after 3 months, need to get another pair.
I bought a pair as I knew I would be walking in rain. It was very heavy rain and the shoes did a great job. They let some water in but it was exceptional rain .Considering the water was running down my waterproofs onto them they were very good. They did well and were comfortable for first day use.A Very sturdy shoe with solid toe and a good heel support.Very nice quality laces too. Just one problem if you walk on a wet metal or a smooth surface they are very slippy. I encountered some metal steps on a bridge and a metal manhole cover and almost went over. Apart from that they are excellent for the price.
Not yet used these for walking but they feel fine on and look good. I am sure we will get plenty of rain to test their waterproofness. For a shoe with this spec they were keenly priced. I have a number of Quecha items/garments and have found them all very good and far from expensive.

The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are systematically looking for the best compromise for walking on soft (e.g. forest paths) and stony (e.g. coastal paths) hiking trails. When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain walking.
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
NH150 WP boots have been tested for 2000 flexes in the laboratory. This means they will stay waterproof for a 2-hour hike. During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: - 2000 flexes, about 2 hours of hiking- 4000 flexes, about 4 hours of hiking- 8000 flexes, about 8 hours of hikingWe recommend you use a re-waterproofing spray several times a year to regain the original water-repellency and prevent
Laboratory- and field- tested, these shoes have a membrane to ensure optimal waterproofing and breathability. First, the shoe is immersed in water while internal air pressure is applied to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the footwear. Next, shoes are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking and half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry.
Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check two comfort points:- the heel seating- the front of the foot on a downward slopeAvoid any pressure points when fitting. Feel free to walk around to test the comfort and support. Gradually start using you shoes during your first few hiking trips to break them in.
These shoes are slightly breathable, but not enough to evacuate all humidity created by your perspiration. We advise you to choose Hike 100 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.
