high quality and stable
A good, strong bike at a decent price point which gives younger (or in our case shorter) kids their first taste of mountain biking with more than 1 gear. Well specced twist-grip gears and a reasonable suspension fork to soak up bumps and make trail climbs that little bit easier. Item was well delivered with all parts and tools needed in a single box. Looks fantastic in pale blue too! Gets my 'thumbs up'.

Lovely first bike for my lad
This is my son's 4th bike from Decathlon and he's only a month over his sixth birthday. Bike arrived on time only few days after the order was placed. Screwed on the pedals and inflated the tyres and went off for a 8km ride. He loved it. Frame appears to be well made and solid. A good choice of components, he found the grip shift very instinctive to use and the brake levers easy for his smaller hands. Only issue was that the brake cables needed to be clamped tighter at the brake caliper. But the basic tools supplied sorted this in a few seconds.

Grandson thrilled to bits with his new bike. It is very good value. It includes one or two extras which other makes do not. Staff were excellent and were insistent on setting it up properly. Good all round

Superb quality bike and great in-store service
Christmas present x just set up in the living room ready for Christmas day and both pedals missing
our son loves his new bike
Overall we are very pleased with this bike, its just right for our grandson. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was it is just a bit on the heavy side for such a small bike.
Bought 2 bikes the same but different colours for my kids. Cheaper than the Halford equivalent and the kids preferred riding them. Said they were smoother and easier to ride and for me a saving of £140 across the two bikes. Whats not to like!
Bought a pair of these bikes for my kids instead of a similar one from Halfords. It was £70 less and I gave my kids the choice and they both preferred the Decathlon bike. Its great for them as we have fields arounds us so they can off road now without any problems. Great bike and great value for money.

Frame designed for mountain biking
Our engineers have designed a new sturdy steel frame. The frame's rear chainstays are short, making the bike responsive and easy to handle.
Front suspension to cushion unpredictable terrain
Take on new challenging terrain (roots, stones, gravel, etc.) with ease thanks to the travel of the front suspension fork.
Changing gear
This bike is equipped with a grip shifter to change between the 6 speeds: an easier, safer system as the child's hands stay on the handlebars.This makes changing gears to match the terrain simple and easy!
Controlled braking
Two V-Brake pads for effective braking.These brakes are composed of callipers that exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels.
A reinforced, ergonomic saddle
A saddle with a sporty design, designed with care to adapt to the morphology of children. It is equipped with a plastic section on the rear (a bumper) to protect against any impacts.
Crankset
The new chainset has a 140 mm crank that is designed for a child's leg length. This chainset allows you to start pedalling more easily. The crank is covered to prevent the child from coming into contact with the metal part.The double chain guard prevents the chain from derailing.
Riding position
When mountain biking, it is important to control your path. To make it easier for children to learn, our engineers installed a handlebar and stem that are combined into a single steering block. This eliminates the needs for adjustments, so they can stay focused on the road!
20" wheels and mtb skinwall tyres
The tyres are designed for mountain biking. The lateral lugs provide good grip on turns. The tyres use SkinWall technology. This process reduces their weight and makes them more flexible, which increases performance, grip and comfort.The recommended tyre pressure is indicated on the side of the tyre (2 to 3.5 bars). 20" inner tube, 1.7" to 2.2" Schrader valve.
