Benefits of skipping rope

With the right technique, this sport can boost endurance.
Add weights to your 900 skipping rope
You can add up to two weights on each handle (1 x 75 g weight, sold separately). To add weights, turn the handle so the coloured button faces you. Press the button to release the chamber. Add one or two weights to the chamber. Reinsert the chamber into handle.Repeat on the other side.You can start your workout.

Whilst this is a nicely weighted and easily shortened (be warned that you have to snip the cord so you won't be able to lengthen for multiple users), since the cord does not rotate in the handles it twists and tangles after 20 skips and starts to shorten as you are skipping. If the cord rotated, this would be perfect for single user use
The rope section has a good weight to it making it easy for a novice to skip. I didn’t realise there was a section to add weights to the handles, so may be buying some in the future
