What is the swimming tether for?
The stationary swimming tether has been designed in response to pool closures, as well as offering a way of making the most of pools at home to train. Thanks to this swimming tether, you can always go swimming, as it enables you to train when stationary in all sizes of pool.A stationary swimming session is just as effective as conventional pool training, working technique, strength and endurance all at once.

Product: stationary swimming tether
The stationary swimming tether comprises two parts:- a central adjustable part that can be attached to a fixed point such as a pool ladder;- a removable part that you can attach to your waist or feet.The tether has an adjustable range of 1 metre, meaning a total length ranging from 2 to 3 metres. It must systematically be attached to the edge of the pool using the hook. Ensure that the attachment is properly closed before you start swimming.
Safety precautions
This product is intended for adult swimmers. If left unsupervised in the pool, the stationary swimming tether can be a danger to children.

I'm so happy with this item I bought two to make my life easier & lengthen its lifespan. It's made swimming in a very shallow giant paddling pool on my patio possible!! I tend to swap halfway through swim as ankle tethers are great for keeping my legs high in front crawl but I then love the freedom my legs have with the waist belt for breast stroke. It also helps stop strain on my shoulders/back by changing tether. Both options are really well made and very comfortable to wear & fasten. Only problem I had was the waist belt was too tight to wrap comfortably, so I bought two sets and made one belt from two. Not a cheap option but probably my fault for being round! It also gives me a second bungee strap as a very different length is needed to reach my ankles than to reach my waist. A pole is hammered into the flower bed just beyond the patio, behind the pool to slip both the bungee webbing loops over. Swimming this way took some getting used to, it pulled on muscles for a bit, but it is amazing after a while. I recommend a swim snorkel too.
Good concept ,would work better if more elastic .
nice quality, comes with weaist band and foot straps (not tried these yet). The cord at full length is goodenough for use in a 4 metre pool but it can be shortened. works well for all stroke types.
