Decent quality reservoir

Compared to other water bladders on the market that are in the same price bracket, the Decathlon one is very strong and well made. I have had multiple reservoirs split or leak on me and these ones seem ok so far.

Quite good until it breaks in a short time

Works well and lives a short life. Then takes its place on the enormous pile of landfill that us humans generate, often in the name of profit. Instead of making this hard-wearing, Decathlon choose to make it disposable. Well done! For those who want a product to work well and to last, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

Drip drip drop

My back started getting wet, and I thought it was condensation or summat. Next run, it was wet before I left the house! Had a look, and there was a small hole in the bottom of the bag. No chance I caused it. Ended up having to put it in a plastic bag full of kitchen roll to do my run I was all prepared for! On looking at the reviews, I won’t be replacing it like for like. Will try Amazon instead.

The bladder developed a pinhole leak at the bottom and I ended up soaked about 3 miles into an ultra run. I bought this as a replacement to the first one I had which had the same problem, but I just put that one down to bad luck and had no idea where such a hole had come from. I've used this replacement about once a week for about 6 months when it started leaking again. Reading the other reviews it seems this is a common problem, which is a shame because on the whole I like this product, (just not the leaking bit).

Will start to leak sooner or later

I've been through 3 or 4 of these now and the all eventually spring a small leak, at one of the pinch points where the material creases. The last one survived 3 months (or about 400 km). The tube and mouth piece seem pretty nice - easy to drink from without dripping or biting your tongue off.

No drips

Good cheaper replacement for a camel bac bladder no issues with it so far on runs.

Perfect water bladder!.

The same as the soft flasks, used as a quick replacement on long runs for my wife's Decathlon Kalenji running vest, perfect. MJS

Leaked 1km into half marathon......

Used six times and the seventh on a half marathon. Leak started 1km in where hose connects to bag. Was soaked and then by 9km had no water left to hydrate. Shorts and back uncomfortable and water ran into trainers making it an awful run. Will return and see what they say.

Hi Paul,

We are really sorry to hear this. It seems like a potential defect on the whose. So please, feel free to visit your local store and speak to our Running experts. They will be happy to advice you and replace it if needed.

Broke after about 10 runs

At km12 of a long run I found myself soaked in water. A little hole in the bladder near the connection between tube and bladder. No idea how it happened but apparently I am not the only one

Second one, first one sprung a leak

The first one sprung a leak after about a year of fairly regular use. There is an obvious weak point where the tube enters the bag, and I expect its a pretty common failure. Lets see how I get on with this one.

My bladder also started to leak after only around 5 uses. It is between the tube and the bladder.

Bladder Split

I had the same issue as other reviewers. Split between bag and tube. Very unpleasant 5 miles home with soaked back and shorts.

Dear Malcolm,

I am really sorry to hear this from you.Usually we don't have many bad reviews about our hydratation bags and in your case it must be a production error with the blader. Please feel free to return the product in the store and to exchange for the new bag.

I will forward this feedback to the product manager for sure, just to keep an eye on this.If this is an often issue then we will take some action.

Thank you,

Best regards,

My bladder burst

The bladder works fine, but it started falling apart after 10 runs where the tube connects to the bladder.

Hi Mr.Daniel,

I am really sorry to hear that from you about this product, usually this is not the case. Please fill free to return the product in any of Decathlon store and exchange for the new or get the refund.
I think there is maybe a production error,so if you exchange the baldder for new in our stores it should be fine.
I will inform the brand and the production manager about this.

Thank you,

A water bladder designed for replenishing your water supply during trail runs.

With its 1L capacity, your water bladder will give you 2 hours of running time on average. Indeed it is often the minimum volume required during trail running competitions. And thanks to its wide open, you can quickly fill it at the drink stations. When closing it, you should feel the slide-top clip into place to ensure a perfect seal. Finally, your water bladder is compatible with the 5L, 10L and 15L trail running bags.

A tube and an adjustable bite valve for superior comfort.

You can easily cut the tube of the water bladder to your preferred length! To do this, remove the bite valve, put the tube in some hot water to soften it, cut it to the required length and replace the bite valve. The bite valve has an on/off closure system to prevent leaks during transportation. When running, it does not leak, even when it is in the open position. In order to get a good flow rate when you drink, pinch the bite valve with your mouth and suck!

Composition, dimensions and maintenance of your water bladder:

The components of your water bladder are guaranteed to be free of BPA (Bisphenol A) in accordance with current French regulations. It is 31 x 16cm in size with a 100cm tube.To prolong the lifetime of your water bladder, do not fold it, do not fill it with hot liquids and do not carry it upside down or by the tube ;)

How to empty the air from your water bladder

To avoid hearing the noise of the water splashing about in the pouch while you are running, make sure you empty out all the air before starting!Just hold your water bladder upside down after filling it, guide the air bubbles towards the tube opening and suck them out. That's all there is to it. Now you can enjoy the silence while you run!

Some tips for cleaning your water bladder:

To avoid any taste of plastic when you drink, rinse your water bladder 3 times before using it for the first time.Whenever you clean your water bladder, remember to dry it thoroughly by leaving it open.If the taste of plastic persists, put your dry water bladder in the freezer overnight.

How do we test a water bladder?

To guarantee the quality of the 1L water bladder, our design team asked 12 runners to use it during a running session on a treadmill.Because it is much more easygoing than trail running, running on a treadmill gives you the opportunity to concentrate on the flow rate of the bite valve, the movements of the water bladder and the user comfort. With the help of the feedback provided by our testers, we designed a product for trail running.
