Add a hydration pack slot and I will buy it.

If you add a hydration pack section I would definitely buy two for my kids school and scouts camping trips. Hydration packs distribute the weight better than a large water bottle on one side...and they think it is fun.

Just came back from an almost 3 months trip. The size is perfect, can be used as cabin luggage, and could keep everything I needed for the stay of my trip. Very comfortable.

Configuration not for me

This is excellent quality and has great straps and back, however, I hate its design. The design is cleaver but it does not work for me. The outer compression straps get in the way of the zips of the easy access pockets. If you leave the straps undone they flap around. I also like to be able to rummage around and pull anything out I need and this is difficult. For example to get a laptop out, the easy access flap is not big enough and the whole back structure needs to be undone and then all the other contents has a good chance of falling out. Also the top 'brain' lies awkwardly if it is not clipped on and exposes the security compartment. Overall, it is a good try at doing something better but in my opinion it does not quite work but it might for you. The quality is excellent.

Great rucksack

Bought for my daughter as a school bag. Good strong piece of kit. It holds all her school work and sports kit with room to spare. She loves it and will also be using it on expeditions with scouts.

great backpack

Great back pack, very comfortable, maybe not for a tall person, could do with more internal pockets

Diamond in the rough

Exceptionally sturdy, packs neatly. Material has absolutely no give at all which forces you to go minimal, but hey you don't buy a 40L if you don't know that already. With straps fully extended the space between the bag and the top flap was enough to hold a tent. Slightly on the heavy side, so hiking with it might result in better leg strength. There are other 40L packs that weigh 800g, but are twice as expensive and not even half as sturdy, so weight is a trade-off. Included rain cover is a winner; would have been better if it too was black. The strap side of the bag is a bit messy compared to the front which is super clean. Zips, straps and locks are very well done and seem like they will last. Good value for the price.

I Love It

It's goog trekking bag it's really awesome

Good Product

I used this bag for 2months,good quality, lot of carrying items in it,but this design is simple but I like it.

Great Product

You need to be atleast 5"5 in height to fit it correctly. Works well, good compartments, loved using it.

Great Product

Genuine product

Not as expected.

Not as per expectation with respect to price

Decent product

Good fit and finish. I bought it online. Image doesn't show real colour and fabric well. Had ordered blue initially but was disappointed to see the colour in real. Changed to burgundy. Happy with the purchase. The compartment that the description says that can be used for a laptop is not really adequate. Fits a 15.6 inch laptop snugly. But the aluminium support plate that has the contour for the back could damage the laptop. So I inserted a hardboard in the space where access to the aluminium support is thus supporting the laptop. Otherwise an overall good product.

Additional sustainable development information

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced. It enables us to reduce CO² emissions by 23% compared to a traditional dye.

Eco-design of the travel 100 backpack

We work relentlessly to reduce the environmental impact of our backpacks. It’s a balance between material choice and product durability. In fact, the heavier the bag the higher it’s CO2 consumption. Heavy material often indicates strength and durability. This is why our challenge is to combine eco-design with durability.

What about the travel 100 from a practical point of view?

On this TRAVEL 100 rucksack, we worked on the fabric, using mass pigmentation. In the first year, we have moved all inner BLACK fabrics over to the dope dyed process. In the second year, along with our partner supplier, we managed to do this for outer fabrics in DARK GREY, BLACK and KHAKI.Next year’s challenge is therefore to do this for BORDEAUX, BLUE and LIGHT GREY fabric!

How to adjust your backpack?

Begin by adjusting the lumbar belt. The bag's weight should sit mainly on your hips. Then tighten the shoulder straps to bring the bag's weight towards your back.Attach and tighten the chest strap then tighten the smaller straps above the shoulders so that the back sits perfectly on your back.

Backpack travel 100 compartments

Suitcase-style wide opening.A big internal compartment in the bottom of the bag (for shoes or laundry for example). An inside net pocket and on each side of the big compartment.A zipped belt pocket (perfect for having your phone to hand)Water compartment against the back (could also be used for a laptop)

Protect your bag in the rain

The bag comes with a rain pocket waterproof to 2,000 mm (Schmerbers)This is equivalent to a rain shower of 60 L per hour per square metre.
