Designed for use on hiking trails
Our hiking sandals are designed for use on walking trails. We choose and test the components of our soles to best adapt to the practice of hiking on soft footpaths (for example, woodland earthy footpaths) or mineral footpaths (for example, rocky coastal footpaths). Intensive road use (tarmac) will accelerate the wear of your soles.Do not use them on mountain trails with lots of elevation gains.
What is the origin of our leather?
We use leather called “leather crust”The leather for these sandals comes from cows. We do not kill any animals to obtain this leather: we only use leather waste from the agrofood industry.
Our environmental policy
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products.Today, this product is not eco-designed, but we work every day to make it more responsible: eco-design, repairability and sustainability are at the heart of our developments.We have already begun this process and we hope to offer you a more environmentally friendly sandal within 1 year.

Ok
They take a bit of getting used to but then become comfortable. Would be nice to have toes not so exposed and a bit more covered.
My wife likes them. Lovely low profile sandals, comfortable with lots of adjustable straps. Quite narrow though so if you have wide feet, you may not like them.
