Worn on three journeys into the Scottish Highlands. Good venting, robustly made, comfortable, good value and easy to move in. I've worn them in light rain and snow and have been warm or able to ventilate when working hard. Temperatures have been below 5C down to -5C and -20C windchill and I've felt no need to wear overtrousers. I can recommend these pants to anyone getting into mountaineering.
Excellent fit and comfortable to wear on long day trips. DWR effect is good although no taped seams means water does eventually penetrate after long exposure to rain.
Legs are a bit long for me , but biggest disappointment is they’re not as warm as the Quechua water repellent stretch trousers with the internal gaiters that I bought a couple of years ago which are superb for winter mountaineering. Unfortunately those have been out of stock for several months. These are no warmer than ordinary soft shell walking pants
