Lab test
We perform lab tests to approve our products' components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips, etc. E.g. for fabric, we test resistance to wear and tearing, whether the colours withstand UV light and washing, the fabric's waterproofing, etc. We then check how sturdy the construction is by performing an accelerated use test on the finished bag that mimics the wear and tear it would suffer over several years.
How do you measure the volume of a bag?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment and all of the pockets with small balls. We then empty the balls into a graduated container that tells us the equivalent volume in litres.

Very compact but roomy skateboard bag despite the size. Beyond than fitting gears, it could fit and hold 2-person swimming attire. Holds the skateboard well. Just that the front compartment can’t be reached if skateboard is attached to the bag. Otherwise very useful bag.
Ideal to cycle to your skatepark with your board and your safety gear. Might not be that good if you intend to walk long distances with it on your back as the end of the skateboard touches your bottom when standing up.
I wanted a backpack to carry my skateboard while cycling to different skate spots and it's perfect for that. I wasn't sure if the top of the board would not hit the back of my helmet while cycling but no so all good. 2 potential improvements: the bottom of the skateboard is hitting my butt while walking so it might not be very good if you intend to walk carrying your board. Also the size is just big enough for all my safety gears but I wouldn't be able to carry much more.
