Installing the pads
To maintain the properties of your non-slip kit over time, the pads must be applied to a new or a perfectly dewaxed or degreased surfboard. Do not apply at temperatures below 20°C. The surface of the board must be flat and uniform. Let sit a minimum of 2 hours before going in the water.We recommend that you round off the points of the triangular parts to get them to stick better.
Chafing
Like with all non-slip solutions, certain skins may be more or less subject to irritation. Therefore, you are advised to wear a top, leggings or an isothermal wetsuit. Surfing bareback is not recommended.
Grip
Foot grip is perfectly sufficient for most surfers. Shortboarders are advised to combined a conventional EVA pad for the rear foot, with the nowax pad for the front foot.In cold water, use booties for a better grip on the pad.however, wax will provide better grip for shortboarders doing large manoeuvres.
Types of boards
The nowax pads can be used on all the hard boards (epoxy, polyester) on the market.Do use on foam surfboards.
Coverage
Each diamond measures 19 cm X 12 cm. Each pack contains 17 diamonds and six triangles. One pack can cover all boards up to 7'2. For Malibu boards and longboards, you will two packs.

bought these and fitted them today. My small mal (8') needed 3 whole packs to cover the board, a proper mal would need at least 4 (not the 2 suggested). additionally a couple of the pads were not sticky at all (fell off with no force at all). the rest seem ok, but I haven't surfed on it yet.
Acheté hier, testé aujourd'hui : - bonne adhérence à la rame, aux demi-tours, au take-off. Sensation similaire à la wax bien que le grip rape la paume des mains au take-off. J'imagine qu'on s'y haitue bien. - très bonne adhérence une fois debout (avec chausson) Bilan très positif sauf que... un autocollant s'était déjà décollé après moins d'une heure dans l'eau. J'avais pourtant pris garde à déwaxer et laver soigneusement le pont de ma planche au préalable. Je voulais éviter les résidus de wax dans l'océan, je me retrouve à y avoir laissé un gros bout de plastique. Je passe à une autre solution. Dommage.
Mes deux planches en résine sont équipées de ce système. Pas besoin de perdre du temps à waxer avant la session. Si on a une belle déco cela evite aussi de la gâcher. Apres plusieurs années d'utilisation je n'ai jamais glissé à cause d'une perte d'adhérence. À la rigeur ce n'est peut être pas compatible avec certaines manœuvres radicales, mais dans l'ensemble très bon produit.
