8 L Pressure Solar Shower for Camping

I have just bought this item - haven't even tried to use it yet and already I'm annoyed with it. When you open it up there is enclosed a sheet of paper with various diagrams on it to tell you how to prepare the shower for use. These diagrams are not particularly clear but, as far as I can see, they tell you to remove a plastic clip and then replace it with an IDENTICAL plastic clip, then to remove a plastic ring and replace it with, yes, an IDENTICAL plastic ring. What is the point of this? It also tells you to remove a second plastic ring and replace with yet another IDENTICAL plastic ring but the second ring is impossible to get at. There are no words in these 'instructions' just a few unhelpful line drawings so I can't possibly know why these plastic parts have to be removed and then replaced with IDENTICAL objects nor whether it matters that I can't access and remove the second plastic ring and replace it with yet another IDENTICAL ring. I paid £34.99 for this item. Surely, for thirty-five quid, somebody, somewhere, could have sat down and penned a few instructions and maybe an explanation as to the reason for this absurd-seeming procedure? And what about the second ring? Can I just leave it? Why does it ( and the other parts ) need to be removed and replaced? For 35 quid I expect better.

I was a bit sceptical about how well this would work. I didn't think it was big enough for a decent shower, but thanks to the pressurised system, it gives the impression of a proper shower without needing a large volume of water. Also, because the water is kept on the ground, it doesn't put any strain on the shower tent, unlike conventional gravity fed bag type! It also packs down very small.

Excellent product with good capacity and with a days intense sun will warm up adequately to provide a refreshing shower following a day in the sea, also great for showering a muddy dog down!

We actually bought this after seeing a recommendation for washing the dogs after muddy walks and thought we would give it a try - its brilliant. Big enough for a good dog shower then a boot wash before we all get back in the car.

Is meant to heat up in the sun, but if it's not sunny enough for long enough just heat some water in a kettle and top it up.

Decathlon was cheap on the plastic postal bag which was too small for the product I received with the handle outside of the postal pack so it looked like someone had tried to open it, not so cos no matter how you tried the handle was too long for the postal bag, shame & cheapskate.

quality is good and water pressure is strong. everything is great. the only downside is the handle, only if it can be foldable that will be perfect.

Great and lightweight for something with some moving parts. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I wished it had a bit more volume than just 8 litres. You can't fill it full and there is a maximum level which goes up about less than 2/3rd of the height which I presume is tied to allowing pressure build up when you pump. Good for a quick rinse after swimming in the sea or lakes/rivers or as a backup at home in cases of water shortages. I keep it in the car so that I never leave home without it.

Portable shower that stows away in a compact unit, this shower is very useful on the beach and also for overlanders going off road. Water pressure is steady. Can also be used to water down your car. Loading water is easy as well as pumping air into it.
