The trisuit = a 3 in 1 product

The trisuit is an iconic accessory for triathletes and a staple for triathlons.- For swimming, its fabric is similar to that of a swimsuit.- For cycling, its fine, soft skin adapts to your body shape and improves sitting comfort. The trisuit acts like cycling shorts, to be worn without underwear.- For running, its fine gel skin is almost unnoticeable: you can run lightly. All you have to focus on is crossing the finish line!

The small details that change everything!

- This trisuit has thermoformed elastic at the arms and thighs, so doesn't move during use or when putting on a neoprene suit for the swimming leg.- The full-length zip opens like a gilet and allows you to ventilation during the race. It also makes toilet stops a lot easier!- The top of the trisuit is made of very lightweight material for more comfort and quick drying. The “shorts” part offers very good support.

A trisuit adapted to women's body shape

Overall, this trisuit is wider than the men's suit. It's fabric provides all the support and comfort you need for natural movement, without compressing. Its fine, super stretch gel skin adapts perfectly to your body shape and offers a good comfort density. A lining was added at the chest to conceal the bust of women triathletes who don't wear a bra, although we recommend wearing one.

A product designed to carry nutrition

To get to the finish line of a short-distance triathlon (3 to 6 hours of exertion), you need to eat! This trisuit has two thermoformed pockets on the thighs: you won't feel them as they are seamless and zip-free, plus the products they hold are under tension and don't move. There are also two net pockets at your lower back. In total with these four pockets, you can carry 10 bars and/or gels for refuelling!

Trisuit, triathlon suit, triathlon trisuit... are there differences?

None! It's the same type of triathlon outfit, a 3 in 1 suit: you pick you preferred term. Not to be confused with a neoprene wetsuit which provides buoyancy and insulation for the swim.

Should i put an additional suit to swim?

It depends on the water temperature! The neoprene suit provides buoyancy, an asset for the swim leg. Good to know: The French Triathlon Federation forbids isothermal swimsuits when the water temperature is above 24°C and makes it compulsory when the temperature goes under 16°C. Between 16 and 24°C, it's up to you.

No issues in Ironman 70.3

It was comfortable with no chafing. The leg seams weren’t an issue for me but I can see that being dependant on your body shape. Overall a great bit of kit at a fraction of the price of a lot of other tri suits!

Seethrough

Wanted to give this one a good review as can see the potential but unfortunately it went completely seethrough on the nipple area after first swim. Fortunately I wear a sports bra underneath my tri-suits when doing the whole thing but didn't on my first swim as didn't think would need too. Resulted in a slightly embarrassing nip show 😬

Cycling - good! Running - bad seam!

I wanted to give this a much better review as I think for the price it’s a decent bit of kit! Used for cycling a few times and I’m happy with that, very comfortable fit (this suit comes up small - I’m a size 12 and 5’9” and the ‘large’ exactly fits). However for running is absolutely not suitable because the seam in the short leg is very rough and chafed the opposing thigh within minutes of my first run - had to turn back only 1km in because it was rubbing my leg raw. A real design flaw to have a raised seam in that leg, especially as they are short legs and come up quite high on the average woman’s thigh! Perhaps not a problem if you are very skinny but a big no from me. Haven’t tried the suit in the water yet but I suspect that this same seam will be an issue for front crawl if not wearing a wetsuit (which I don’t). Overall: great for cycling but nothing else, unless your thighs are very far apart. I
