1000 mile review - love it.

This bike is fantastic. Completed 1000 miles now and the battery and motor are holding up great. We use this on everything from cycle paths to green and blue forest trails and single track. We use it to pull a tow along for nearly all of those 1k miles so it’s pulling 2 people! I have just replaced the bottoms bracket, crank, chain and rear cassette all on cost me about £100. But it’s to be expected after these miles and pulling a kid on a tow along. My mates have similar e bikes bought from Halfords and Amazon - their bikes were 25-30% more expensive and have been back to the shop 3 and 2 times respectively. So this is a winner in all cases.

Didn't last as it should

I've had this bike almost 3 years and completed only 1400 miles on it. On holiday in Germany, pin snapped off the controller unit, breaking the battery too. Visited Decathlon in Baden Baden to be told they couldn't get the parts anymore. Basically left with scrap as I can't source parts. Shame it was a tidy enough bike until this happened.

Great bike for the money , bought for my wife so she could join in on the MTB trails , Manages blue trails with ease although I did upgrade the manual disc brakes to hydraulic , which was relatively a cheap and easy upgrade.
