Product Reviews
Broken presta connector after few times.
I must say that this pump is shocking for a bike. It takes ages and feels like it's going to break when I use it and the plastic attachments feel wrong. The gauge doesn't give you a proper reading and darts all over the place. Would be okay for a football but not for the PSI I need for the road bike.I just wish I could return it but no longer have the receipt! I only used it once... Can a representative let me know the returns policy please?
The pump is advertised as being compatible with Presta valves, but unfortunately due to the poor design you can only reach ~50 PSI with a struggle, which is completely useless for a road bike. A typical pump has a 'clamp' used to provide a tight connection between the pump and the tyre, however this pump uses the clamp to attach the Presta attachment to the pump. Therefore you are not able to get a secure connection between the Presta attachment and the tyre valve. This means the hose flies off as soon as any pressure starts to build in the tyre. If you get down on the ground to grip the hose in place on the tyre, and use your hand and all your bodyweight to press down the 'foot' pump, you can get it to about 50PSI, but it's very awkward and it's easy to slip and hurt yourself. This product is not fit for purpose, and unfortunately I've misplaced the receipt so can't even return it despite barely being a week old!
